Delete account.

This page explains how to delete your Control Stack account, operated by Mindset Cyber PTY LTD (ABN 55 668 364 261), and everything stored against it. You only have an account if you signed in to use the compliance tracker — browsing the controls library does not create an account, so if you have never signed in there is nothing to delete.

Delete your account in the app

The quickest way to delete your account is from inside the Control Stack app:

• Open the Control Stack app and make sure you are signed in.
• Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
• Confirm when prompted. Your account and all tracker data are removed.

Delete your account by email

If you cannot access the app, email info@controlstack.au from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We may need to confirm your identity before we delete the account.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your account and profile (including your email address and sign-in details).
• The frameworks you chose to track.
• Your implementation status for every control.
• Your remediation tasks and their due dates.
• Your target audit date and the progress statistics calculated from your data.

Timing and backups

We action account deletions within 30 days of your request. Copies of your data may persist for a short time in encrypted backups before they are overwritten on our normal backup cycle. We do not use deleted account data for any other purpose.
